Different types of exhibition stands to choose from

Going to a trade fair? Then, of course, you need an exhibition stand. Whether you are a novice or an experienced exhibitor, you may be unsure about which type of stand is the most suitable choice for you. Below, we list the four most common types and give you their pros and cons.

Row stand

A row stand is a stand with three walls and one open side. This type of stand is the most common at trade fairs and is therefore the cheapest option. If you exhibit regularly, think several times a year, this stand is the most favorable option. The high amount of wall space allows you to show a lot in terms of graphics.

The disadvantage of a row stand is that you are not very visible due to the high amount of walls. This is because potential customers can only visit your stand from one side. With this stand, you also have to make sure that your stand itself is unique, as you will quickly blend in with the other stands in your row.

Island stand

An island stand is a stand without any walls. As a result, you have enormous visibility and your stand is accessible from every side. The disadvantage of an island stand is that you have no wall surface to show graphics on, and there are often rules about how much of a side you can ‘close off’. In addition, this is the most expensive stand available.

Headline

A headline is a stand with one wall and three open sides. The stand itself is fully customizable, gives you even more visibility than the corner stand and often gives you a lot of space to work with. The disadvantage of a headline, is that there is only one wall available to display graphics on. In addition, this option is often more expensive than a corner stand.

Corner stand

A corner stand is a stand with two walls and two open sides. The stand itself is more adaptable than the row stand, and gives you more visibility since there is one less wall. The disadvantage of a corner stand is that there is only low availability due to its location relative to the row stands. In addition, it is often more expensive than a row stand.

Choosing the right stand for a trade fair depends on what you want to show your target audience, what your trade fair goal is, and what your budget is. Make sure you have all of this thought out before you start participating in a trade fair. That way, you will encounter as little surprises as possible.
